Rancho Oso is nestled in the mountains of Santa Barbara, CA. More of a dude ranch than a campground, this Thousand Trails property makes for a great getaway. Unplug for a few days to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. The dark nights are ideal for star gazing and enjoying the sounds of nature. There are covered wagons, cabins and cottages for rent. A few guests even brought their horses with them.
The access road to the resort is a narrow winding road about a mile long. We camped in site 19, a full hookup back-in site with 30 amp service. Important to note that there is no AT&T coverage at the property.
