In this episode of the RVing with Joe & Kait podcast, we chat with Andy Mullins, Chief Storyteller at Wayfarer Vans, to explore how simplicity, modular design, and intentional choices are redefining camper van life. Andy shares his journey from weekend camping in a tent to building a teardrop trailer, and how those experiences shaped his passion for minimalist RVing.
The conversation dives into Wayfarer Vans’ ethos of creating simple, high-quality, and modular camper van conversions. Andy also talks about the growing Wayfarer community, why the company chooses not to include showers in their builds, and how embracing simplicity can lead to a greater sense of freedom and connection on the road.
RVing has been some of the best memories that I’ve ever had. The other thing in line with that is you don’t need all of the comforts of home to get out and have a great time. Camping has taught me that. The simpler way to live is often the better way to live.
